We strive to ship your order quickly. Estimated delivery times vary by country. All orders are shipped via PostNL and DHL. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. All shipping costs include VAT. Please note that delivery times may be affected during holidays and sales periods.

In that case, you can check your tracking information for details about your shipment. The POSTNL/DHL courier will take your package to a local POSTNL/DHL point. You can collect your package at a convenient time. Please note that the recipient must sign for the delivery and you must show an ID when collecting your order.

IMPORTANT:
PostNL/DHL will hold your package for a maximum of 7 days. If the package is not picked up within this period, it will be returned to us. Should you wish to have your order reshipped, additional shipping costs will be charged, which will be passed on to you. We will send you a payment link to complete the transaction.

Pre-orders and backorders are usually shipped within 2-3 weeks. Please note that the date given is an estimate and delivery may be earlier or later than expected.

ORDERING PRE-ORDER AND BACKORDER PRODUCTS TOGETHER: HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you place an order with both in-stock items and a pre-order or backorder item, we will consolidate the order and ship it as soon as all items are available. This means that your entire order will be delivered at the same time. This policy will continue to apply even if the expected delivery time is extended due to delays at our suppliers.

Please note that we depend on our suppliers for pre-orders and backorders. If we cannot meet the expected delivery time, we will inform you quickly by email.

If you want to receive the products in stock sooner, we recommend that you place separate orders for these items. This will allow us to quickly ship the available items without delay, so that you receive them as soon as possible.

SHIPPING COSTS FOR EUROPE AND INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS

CUSTOMS AND TAXES FOR DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE EUROPE
Packages are shipped via our standard shipping service, usually performed by PostNL or DHL Express. Please note that customs duties, taxes and handling fees may still apply. It is important to understand that all customs and/or tax charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the order total provided by SLAY WITH CONFIDENCE . All relevant charges must be paid upon delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY
When placing an order for delivery to an international address, please be aware that your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival in your country. It is your responsibility to pay any import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict the amounts.

Additionally, international orders may be subject to customs procedures, which may result in delays beyond our original delivery times. As the recipient of the goods, you are considered the “importer of record” and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Please note that we are not liable for any violations of these laws.

PROCESSING GUIDELINES
All products on the website are subject to availability and your order will only be processed once payment has been received. If any of the products you have ordered are out of stock or if additional identification is required to verify your credit card, we will inform you promptly.

SALE AND HOLIDAY SEASON
Due to the high demand for our sale items, orders placed during the sale period will not be considered confirmed until a shipping confirmation email is received. Therefore, your order may be cancelled if items are out of stock. Expect longer shipping times during the holidays. We will do our utmost to expedite the processing of your order as quickly as possible.

UNDELIVERED AND REFUSED PACKAGES
If delivery is refused for any reason or if the package is deemed undeliverable due to an invalid shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages.

INSPECTION
Upon receipt of your order, it is important to immediately inspect the delivered products to ensure that they meet your expectations. If any of the products are not in the expected condition, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@slaywithconfidence.com Provide all necessary information such as your order details, contact information, a description of the problem and any photo evidence.

SHIPPING ERRORS OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS
We are committed to offering only the highest quality products, and as part of our commitment, each product undergoes rigorous quality control checks before it is shipped. If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately upon receipt of your order to qualify for a free exchange for a new, comparable product, or a refund. In the case of a refund, we will process your full refund within 14 days of receiving the incorrect or damaged product, according to our Shipping Policy.

Please note: We do not accept returns on clothing that has been worn or damaged by you. Upon receipt of your order, it is your responsibility to immediately inspect the delivered products to ensure they are in the expected condition.

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, our obligations if caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances may include fire, flood, severe weather, explosion, war, act of terrorism, industrial dispute or measures taken by local or central government or other competent authority.

Please note: return requests can only be submitted within the 14-day cooling-off period.

Submit a return request

Click the LOGIN icon in the store's menu, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

1. Log in to your account

In the "Email" field, enter your email address (you used to place the order), and then click "Continue".

In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.

3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store. (If you would like to send the return with insurance, please let us know by mentioning it in the notes when submitting your return request).

5. Click "Request return".

If your return request is approved, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

PLEASE NOTE: As part of the Final Sale, products cannot be returned or exchanged. You cannot submit a request for Final Sale items. More information about the Final Sale can be found further down in this return policy.

To receive a full refund, returned items must:

  • Be in original packaging with packing slip.
  • Be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and include all original tags.
  • Show no hygiene wear such as makeup stains or strong perfume scents (this may reduce the refund value). 

Non-returnable items: lingerie, underwear, swimwear, bodysuits, items with removed hygiene seals, jewelry, cosmetics, and face coverings (due to hygiene regulations), Final sale items.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility:

  • Netherlands (standard): € 8.40 incl. VAT
  • Netherlands (insured): from € 10,21 incl. VAT
  • International shipping: return shipping costs vary by country.

If you would like to send the return with insurance, please let us know by mentioning it in the notes when submitting your return request.

A return label will be automatically provided by email. You can complete the payment via the payment link you will receive by email. Always keep your tracking details.

 4. Refunds

Upon receipt: refund within 14 days.

Refunds:

  • Within the Netherlands: full return amount including original shipping costs (if the full order is returned).
  • International: refund excludes original shipping costs. For partial returns within the EU, original shipping costs are not refunded.

5. Final Sale & Clearance Items

Items with  60% discount (or more) and/or clearly marked Final Sale are non-returnable.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Did you receive a damaged or incorrect product? Report it within 24 hours of delivery via contact@slaywithconfidence.com
We will cover all costs and arrange a replacement or refund within 14 days. 

7. Inspection & Communication

Please inspect your order carefully upon arrival. Issues must be reported within 24 hours. Include photos, order details, and a description to speed up resolution. 

We do not offer warranty or repairs after washing – always follow the care instructions.

8. Damaged and Lost returns

The return shipment is always the risk of the sender, even if you have received the return label from us. SLAY WITH CONFIDENCE is not liable for damaged or lost returns. It is important to note that we cannot process a return (and therefore cannot issue a refund) if we do not receive your package or if it is lost during the return process. Please note that PostNL/DHL will only investigate damaged and lost packages if they were sent with insurance (registered delivery).

PRE-ORDERS & BACKORDERS

WHAT ARE PRE-ORDERS?
This occurs when a product is announced or made available for purchase before it is officially released or produced. Customers can place orders for the product in advance, securing their purchase for when the item becomes available. Pre-orders allow customers to reserve items before they are released or produced.

WHAT ARE BACKORDERS?
This occurs when a product is temporarily out of stock or not immediately available at the time of purchase. Customers can still place orders for the item, but delivery will be delayed until the product is back in stock or becomes available. Backorders allow customers to purchase items that are temporarily out of stock, with the knowledge that there will be a delay in delivery.

At SLAY WITH CONFIDENCE we run various sales throughout the year, and one type you may encounter is a Final Sale . While these sales can offer great deals, it’s important to be aware of the specific terms and conditions that apply.

Products explicitly marked as 'Final Sale' are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code. These items cannot be returned or exchanged. This condition is clearly stated on the product page, in the return policy, and in these Terms and Conditions, which the customer agrees to upon placing an order. By purchasing a Final Sale item, the customer acknowledges and accepts that the sale is final and waives any right of withdrawal.

WHAT IS A FINAL SALE ?
Final Sale is a promotion where all items purchased cannot be returned or exchanged. These sales are often applied to clearance items or end of line items, usually at heavily discounted prices (60% OFF or more).
